I remember the struggle as I sang this song, lol!

This was a finals entry to a singing contest I joined at Facebook via Smule.  The contest piece was uniform and much as I wouldn't have wanted to sing this song as I REALLY was not familiar with it, I was left with no choice since not singing meant opting out of the competition.

I had to record this one almost twenty times --- that is a fact  I had trouble with the timing. Nonetheless, after all the trouble,. I was able to submit a somewhat decent result, lol.

BTW, I placed second... earning me 2,000 pesos.  Not bad.

You Raise Me Up ... my version

Popularized by Josh Groban, this song surely gives listeners a nice feel - very uplifting and empowering. Sometime last year, a friend requested me to do a cover  --- something done by many.  I just hope my version did this incredible song justice.

My version of Smoke Gets In Your Eyes

Much as I like to write, I also love singing. And maybe, God had been too generous with me as He has given me a good singing voice. One of the ways through which I ward off negativity and stress is by belting out the high notes.  Most times, I fail (that is the neighbor's problem, lol) yet at some other times, I get to hit them notes spot on (yey!)

It has been such a long time since I last wrote something in here, right?
